1. Biotronic SE
Biotronic SE is a powerful combination of synergistically acting organic acids and salts. Apart from its pH decreasing action, the selected acids penetrate the cell wall of gram-negative bacteria. Once inside the cell, the acids dissociate. The hydrogen ion reduces the plasma pH and the anion disrupts DNA synthesis. The dual mode of action inhibits bacterial proliferation. The use of Biotronic SE is indicated for the control of gram-negative bacteria including E. coli and Salmonella.
2. Biotronic P
Biotronic P is composed of selected organic and inorganic acids of high biological value on one hand and of specific herbal extracts on the other hand. The acids reduce the buffer capacity of the feed; the herbal extracts enhance feed palatability, resulting in increased salivation and gastric juice secretion. Thus, the pre-conditions are optimized. In the intestinal tract Biotronic P contributes to eubiosis. Biotronic P further enables the excretion of acids, which have a bactericidal effect in the organism concerned.

AMCiEcostat is a product especially formulated to support intensive pig production. It has been estimated that up to 25% mortality in piglets born alive is due to piglet diarrhea primarily caused by infections with E.coli.
